What is Grin Remote Monitoring?

Grin Remote Monitoring is a user-friendly app that lets you share images and videos of your teeth, captured with your phone and a Grin Scope, directly with our office, whether you’re at home, school, work, or even on vacation.

After your initial in-person consultation with Dr. Lin, your treatment progress can largely be reviewed virtually, meaning fewer appointments without compromising care. Grin also allows for more efficient, shorter appointments when you are at the office, as we have consistent updates of your progress and know what needs attention even before you arrive at your appointments. 

Whether you are in braces or clear aligners, this smart tool helps ensure your treatment stays on track from anywhere. Less time at the office and more time enjoying life.

How Does It Work?

At the start of your treatment, we will help you download and set up your Grin Remote Monitoring app. You will receive a Grin Scope and instructions on how to take clear images using your phone. 

Based on the captured images, we will guide you through your treatment with regular updates as opposed to only receiving feedback at the traditional 6-8 week interval. Got a question or concern mid-week? Just send a scan, it’s that easy.
